There are to small prongs at the bottom that bend easily and make it so the phone wont seat properly and then the phone doesn't charge. The battery does not last very long even with no use. Configuration on phone system was same as a standard phone. However if your using commercial grade wireless be advised that the phone will not connect to a new AP without dropping the call. Not worth the money at all. We have hundreds of this Model in our system. 10,000 employees with >700 7921 handsets) They break frequently & regularly, they lose signal constantly if you're walking in the building or near a wall. They are so unreliable it makes us look bad as a business that we drop calls to everyone. The only reason I scored this item a 1 is that I can't give it a negative rating. STAY AWAY from this product if you have any business sense!!!! This review is from: Cisco 7921G Unified Wireless IP Phone (Electronics) Frankly, I thought this wireless phone was terrific, and an extremely useful add-on to my Cisco VoIP set-up. Heck, I was able to set one up at home, and have it locally recognize my office LAN (much to the chagrin of my family, who get to hear the office phone ringing!). The reception is great, the sound is crisp. I haven't noticed any particular battery problems, but then again, I keep the phone in its base station much of the time. Yes, you do have to be careful when placing the phone in its base, so that it makes the connection to charge.
